We'd Love to Have You!

Volunteers are needed to help throughout the summer.

Opportunities are available for individuals or groups.

Day Camp: Our day camp runs all summer long and we are in need of individuals who are interested in working with our Lil’ Buckaroos, ages 5-8. Whether you are available daily, 1-2 weeks or one or two days weekly, we need animated and energetic help to excite our little ones.

Kitchen Help: Share your gift of cooking and baking or you tireless energy of washing and drying. If you’d like to help 1 or more days weekly or anything you are available for. Whichever it is, it’s most appreciated and welcomed.

Camp Nurse: We are always in need of nurse to oversee our rancher’s healthcare issues. Serving as camp nurse for two weeks or more can be exchanged for a $360 credit toward the price of summer camp tuition. All interested applicants (must be an RN or LPN in the state of PA)

Projects: Our camp is in constant need of new updates and repairs along with day to day maintenance. If you can share your time and skills for a day or more we have the project for you. (ie. Painting, mowing, construction, cleaning and organizing)

All prospective volunteers should call the office 724-483-4343 or email us and complete a Volunteer Application.  Since you will be working with or around campers, efforts are made to screen applicants carefully.  Background clearances will be required at your expense and a Voluntary Disclosure Statement must also be completed prior to working.

Background Checks
ALL STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS MUST SEND COPIES OF THESE CLEARANCES PRIOR TO START OF CAMP. ACT 33 & FBI CLEARANCE CAN TAKE A FEW WEEKS SO BEGIN THIS PROCESS ASAP. CLEARANCES SHALL BE NO MORE THAN ONE (1) YEAR OLD AT THE TIME OF EMPLOYMENT

PA RESIDENTS:
• Act 33 - PA Child Abuse History (complete & mail)
• Act 151 - PA Criminal History (complete online)

NON PA RESIDENTS:
• FBI federal background check (complete online & finger print appt.)
